Overview
In this lesson we are going to explore the pros and cons for a Solar PV system with battery storage. To explore this topic we are going to build our own small scale solar PV and battery storage system.
The system we will build could be used to power a small number of low powered devices. This example will illustrate what equipment you need to buy, how much it costs and how much power it can deliver.
If you ever want to build your own off-grid tiny house, then this system will show you how it can be done on a modest budget.
Bill of Materials
Here is a list of the items that are required to make our project work. Indicative costs are also shown.
