Here is a list of all the equipment we are using the classroom. You don't need to buy anything. However if you want to practise at home and set up your own Home Automation System then you can buy some of these components.
Raspberry Pi components
- Raspberry Pi 3B+ (Supplier - Core Electronics) - currently being used by students in the classroom $61.95
- Raspberry Pi 3+ Power Supply (Official) $22.80
- Raspberry Pi OS 32GB Preloaded uSD Card $27.45
- Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ Enclosure (Official) $12.50
- Monitor with HDMI input
- HDMI cable
- Keyboard
- Mouse
Alternatively - if you want a more powerful Raspberry Pi, you can invest in the Pi400
